VERY EXCITING NEWS! All of my blood and respiratory tests came back normal, my platelets came up major! I will be coming back IN A MONTH! 😃 So excited about this! Here’s some selfies 😂
It’s hard to believe that a year ago her future was uncertain, she was sick and underweight. Now she’s jumping over every hurdle and reclaiming each piece of her life. I’m so excited for her and what she’ll do with the long life ahead of her.
Medically speaking, she’s been in full remission for quite a while and the monitoring process looks for any indicators that something may have gone wrong. But each time she passes with flying colors the need for monitoring becomes less frequent, and statistically the chances of the cancer coming back get lower and lower until becoming a lightning-struck lottery winner becomes higher.
I say this every time, but it’s just as important as ever. Thank you, all of you, for the support you’ve given our family—financial, practical, emotional, and spiritual. None of us would have been able to make it from March 2016 to March 2017 if it wasn’t for everything you offered us. We can never pay you back the tremendous debt we owe, but we’ll do our best to pay it forward. There are other people going through tough times and we’ve been trying to help in ways that we can.
It may be a while before the next post, so enjoy the spring! See you on the flipside.
